So the big question on your mind is most probably along the lines of "how does an I.T. company go green? they not exactly driving trucks or working in factories or anything like that..." Well, we recently found out some shocking facts from one of our server partners - At present, between 3 and 4 percent of all electricity (and the associated carbon emissions) used in the world goes to running data centers.

Finally after some serious tweeking and configuring we have managed to upgrade the Manta Online site, which is now built into the HubStar site framework. The Manta Online site now has a a similar look and feel as the HubStar site, as it is now part of the family, but Manta Online will retain it's own independence, as a solid internet service provider in the form of hosting and domains.

Since the initial first release of the Power Slide Extension, Theme Joomla have had a great response from the Joomla community. Multiple fixes have been implemented to date, bringing Power Slide Pro to version 1.0.4 and the Power Slide display module to version 1.0.2, which now finally brings the extension to a stable release, as the majority of bugs have been "ironed out".

 

We have managed to complete a more solid and defined user experience and style for the HubStar site, completely redesigned by Digital Design Media and built by Theme Joomla. It's been a bit of an uphill battle, with major issues between our site javascript - mootools and jquery just do not seem to like each other, kind of like mac versus pc. Not to mention several crucial bug fixes we managed to sort out...
